This Week in EID - Episode 71

It’s Friday, so it must be time for the weekly recap of the week’s articles on EID.

Our piece on Windows 10 got some pushback that hidden defaults is not the worst behavior so calling it black hat might be going too far.  But the point was more than that it is hidden. It is not only hidden but there is a secret second step that users will not think to check for. That is what I considered black hat.

We got some great questions on the philanthropic management decision making article.  What makes this domain so interesting is that it is highly susceptible to the heuristics that often lead us astray.

Monday’s article on luggage with digital features got lots of suggestions for additions.  Great to see how creative our readers are.

My personal favorite this week was the trademark dispute between Fat Noodle and Chubby Noodle in San Francisco.  You’d think that Fat Noodle could be a little more creative.

Have a great weekend.
